Exhbition ground, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad.
This demure lady invited immediate doodling as she appeared to the malayali caricaturist as the quintessential 'Gujarathi'. She, in fact, belonged to the pavilion of the ICDS (Integrated Child Development Scheme) just across the TAX PAYERS' LOUNGE. ICDS and most other Departmental pavillions returned lean footfalls while the IT Lounge was abuzz with happenings daily. Dhruv with his deadly close up magic and english compulsively spoken with a Spanish accent and Lipsa Panda who insisted on being called LipSHA, with her effervescent hosting set the stage on fire while a motley crowd gathered around a fat man crouching on his drawing paper, black marker in hand...
